Greece government has expressed its concern regarding the suspension of the OSCE mission in Georgia - Foreign Minister of Greece Mrs. Dora Bakoyan voi
Russia vetoed the extension of the OSCE mission in Georgia on December 23 session. The Russian delegation was very sharp in its position saying the previous mandate was inept today because Abkhazia and South Ossetia were already independent republics.
By vetoing the OSCE mission extension in Georgia Russia has in fact breached the six-point ceasefire agreement.
By vetoing the OSCE mission extension in Georgia Russia has in fact breached the six-point ceasefire agreement.
The decision to breach Russia`s solemn pledge to allow the OSCE to continue its work in Georgia should be seen in the light of Putin`s new diplomacy. There is little the OSCE or its Euro-Atlantic members can do. The interesting thing will be to see if President Sarkozy makes a protest. It was his agreement that has now been dishonoured. Will Paris protest or has Putin won another trick in his efforts to divide Europeans internally and Europe from North America?
As u can see Putin wants to quarrel Europe to could do what he wants in Georgia!

***Breaking NEWS*** Medvedev admits that Russia started the war!!! ***Breaking NEWS***
Medvedev said three times in his interview that the war was begun by Russia. He said it was his personal decision on launching the fighting in South Ossetia.
Medvedev said the low number of dead soldiers in this war was the result of well-planned military operation in Georgia.
He said Russia began fighting in South Ossetia because Georgians opened fire to Russian citizens.
Russian president did not even try to hide his personal hatred towards the president of Georgia. He said the motives of his decision to wage war was also the hatred towards Mikheil Saakashvili.

Georgia terminates diplomatic relations with Nicaragua, the statement by the Foreign Ministry of Georgia says. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia transmitted an official note on the termination of diplomatic relations between the two countries to the Mission of the Republic of Nicaragua to the United Nations Organization. Georgia established diplomatic relations with Nicaragua in 1994.

Russia plans Saakashvili's assassination
Russia plans Saakashvili's assassination
Georgia is expecting more provocations from Russia after the last night incident in Akhalgori when Georgian and Poland's presidents were assaulted.
Russian media has released an interview with Russian FSB ex-official, Phelix Makiyevsky, who says one of the strongest special units of the Russian FSB has the plan for Saakshvili's assassination ready and is only waiting for a political decision.
The pride of the Russian FSB, special unity Vimpel, has an ambition to say that they may conduct the operations in any point of Georgia.
Moscow reminds Georgia the special operation conducted in Afghanistan in 1979, when the KGB special unit murdered the president Hafizullah Amin, his 5-year-old child and the guard of 200 men in 43 minutes.

Putin's outburst
how do you think about the comment of Putin.
The Times- Sarkozy saved Saakashvili from being 'hanged'
14.11.08 13:18
Nicolas Sarkozy saved the President of Georgia from being hanged 'by the balls' — a threat made last summer by Vladimir Putin, according to an account that emerged yesterday from the Élysée Palace.
The Russian Prime Minister had revealed his plans for disposing of Mr Saakashvili when Mr Sarkozy was in Moscow in August to broker a ceasefire in Georgia.
Jean-David Levitte, Mr Sarkozy’s chief diplomatic adviser, reported the exchange in a news magazine before an EU-Russia summit today. The meeting will be chaired by the French leader and President Medvedev.
With Russian tanks only 30 miles from Tbilisi on August 12, Mr Sarkozy told Mr Putin that the world would not accept the overthrow of Georgia’s Government. According to Mr Levitte, the Russian seemed unconcerned by international reaction. 'I am going to hang Saakashvili by the balls,' Mr Putin declared.
Mr Sarkozy thought he had misheard. “Hang him?” — he asked. 'Why not?' Mr Putin replied. 'The Americans hanged Saddam Hussein.'
Mr Sarkozy, using the familiar tu, tried to reason with him: 'Yes but do you want to end up like [President] Bush?' Mr Putin was briefly lost for words, then said: 'Ah — you have scored a point there.'

Separatists object to EU monitoring in Abkhazia
Hi Folks!
How do you guys think about this?
05.11.08 10:19
Abkhazian separatist government is objecting to the presence of EU military monitors in Georgia's breakaway region. The statement of the de facto foreign minister Sergey Shamba was released on Russian channels.
The EU monitors travelled to the villages under Russian control yesterday. They met with the people in the village Otobaia. Their appearance was unexpected for separatists and the occupants, who deployed more tanks to the village.
From my point of view it is quiet clear that the Abkhazian side (de facto) is not interested in accepting international help and therefore denies all efforts of the EU.
Does anyone have an idea how this obstacle could be removed?
